The Wedding of Jemma and Gemma – Sheepdrove Farm and Shaw House
Sheepdrove Farm Wedding Photography / Shaw House Wedding Photography
I love to photograph weddings at Sheepdrove Farm firstly because it feels so peaceful, rural and detached from hustle and bustle of the rest of world. Secondly I think the venue really suits my style of using lots of elements in the landscapes to creating beautiful images such as the lake, pontoon, archway and rustic farm building and that is before we get to the stunning views over the valley. From our first conversations I felt a good vibe from Gemma and Jemma as they knew what they wanted from their photography and were passionate about getting the best images from their day. Gemma is also a great photographer which added just a little pressure to make sure I delivered!!!
Preparations were made in the cottages (Woodend) at Sheepdrove farm before they made the drive in the wonderfully quaint VW campervan over to Shaw House for the Ceremony. The weather wasn’t kind to us but that didn’t matter as the love these two had for each other was clear for all to see and they weren’t going to let a little bit of rain get in their way of having the best day ever. It was a very relaxed and informal day and Gemma and Jemma were happy to don their wellies and make the walk down to the lake which allowed me to time to capture some great relaxed and natural images of the two of them together. I hope you enjoy the highlights below and the full set can be found here: http://clientgalleries.gregclarkphotography.com/jemmaandgemma/
